This product contains no weeds. None whatsoever. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch.
Living Earth’s More than Mulch is our premium 100% weed-free mulch for the garden. Applied over the existing ground soil, it creates a blanket around plants giving your garden an aesthetically appealing finish.
We’ve made More than Mulch by blending Living Earth’s organic compost with untreated wood that has been chipped and dyed black. When it's said More than Mulch, it's not just a mulch instead its compost content revives and conditions the soil. While watering or during rain, migrates the compost down to the soil and leaves behind the black mulch which results in an arguably appealing finish and boosts all types of commercial and residential gardens.

Coloured mulch may potentially stain. Although we make every effort to ensure that our coloured mulch is dry, we are unable to offer any guarantee that staining will not occur if blown next to sensitive areas i.e. house walls, concrete driveways etc. Ensure you protect these areas with plywood sheets or similar. Living Earth accepts no liability for any damage caused as a result of unprotected areas.
Ordinary garden soil and products like compost and mixes may contain a variety of living micro-organisms, some of which, on rare occasions can cause illness in humans. Serious infection is rare. However, for older people or those with reduced immunity, infection can be life-threatening. We recommend the following precautions: avoid opening bags in enclosed areas; avoid inhaling the mix; always wear gloves and wash hands after use. See your doctor if you develop a high fever, chill, breathlessness, or cough.
Living Earth products are made with a compost base produced from Auckland’s greenwaste. This is great for the planet but the reality of greenwaste recycling means that small inorganic items can sometimes remain after the composting and screening process. You can be confident Living Earth meets the NZS 4454 (and BioGro) standards and all products go through a pasteurisation process which mean they’re safe with lots of long-term benefits for your soil. Your plants will thrive and your veggies will taste delicious. Please just be mindful of what goes in with your greenwaste when it is time for harvesting and pruning all that growth.
More Than Mulch Mix is also available in a 1m3 Bulk Bag
