  • What is More Than Mulch Mix?
    It is a blend of chipped, dyed untreated wood that has been blended with Living Earth Compost. This is a fantastic recycled product that contains the benefits of a mulch and the extra nutrition of compost.
  • What are the benefits of using a mulch on the garden?
    Mulching your garden locks in moisture and suppresses weeds, giving your plants a 'free rein' to grow healthily. When it's put around your plants it gives your garden the latest designer look.
  • Is More Than Mulch Mix 100% weed-free?
    Yes it is 100% weed-free.
  • When is the best time to apply More Than Mulch Mix?
    At any time of the year, but for best results, water and weed the area first.
  • How much More than Mulch Mix do I use?

    On Garden Beds:
    Moisten soil, remove weeds and liberally spread around annuals and perennials to a depth of 50-70mm, keeping the mulch away from the base of the plants.

    Trees & Shrubs:
    Moisten soil, remove weeds and liberally spread around trees and shrubs to a depth of 100mm, keeping mulch away from the base of plants.

    It is a good idea to re-apply every year, to maintain an attractive mulch layer on the garden - and make the neighbours jealous...
